A snorkel adventure awaits you at Hol Chan Marine Reserve! Depart from San Pedro by boat and head south east to Hol Chan (Maya for “Little Channel”), the first marine reserve established in Central America. Explore the coral reefs as you swim amongst the abundant marine life. Then head to your second snorkel stop, Shark Ray Alley. Friendly reef fish including snappers and jacks dart in and about graceful stingrays and the inquisitive brown nurse sharks for an experience not to be missed. After your personal encounter with the “friendly critters” you will be transferred back to the Town of San Pedro.

A snorkel adventure awaits you at Mexico Rocks! Depart from San Pedro by boat and head north east for a scenic cruise to Mexico Rocks. Explore the abundant marine life in shallow crystal clear waters. This site is well known for excellent sightings of grouper, lobster, barracuda, sand sharks, and tiny blue tropical fish.

A new twist on just plain old snorkeling! See more of our underwater wonders on your own personal hand held power scooter. Depart San Pedro Town by boat for a scenic cruise to one of our Power Snorkel locations (location is dependent on weather and tidal conditions). Once at the site your expert guide will brief you on the safety procedures of handling your underwater sea scooter. You are then off for the next hour to explore the abundant marine life in the crystal waters of the second largest Barrier Reef in the world. Your tour is fully guided for your safety and entertainment.

Multiple local dive sites lie just beyond the reef’s crest, a short 5-10 minute boat ride from our dock. Average dive depths range from 60-80 ft. Dive into a vivid terrain of fleshy boulder and pillar coral formations, amongst waving sea fans and sponges as you glide over the spur and groove canyon formations. A variety of colorful fish, including the more elusive marine species like large groupers, nurse sharks, gliding eagle rays and turtles, swim alongside as you explore their world.
